THE DARLING
Introducing The Darling, a one-of-a-kind High Jewelry set created exclusively for Nadine Nassib Njeim for her appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The Darling marks the first bespoke set in MARLI's history designed entirely around a Brand Ambassador's identity, aesthetic, and spirit.
The set takes its name from DARLI, MARLI's High Jewelry collection inspired by the duality of strength and softness — and Nadine who, as the muse behind this creation, has become our darling in the truest sense. Feminine, confident, and bold, she embodies everything DARLI stands for.
THE DESIGN
The Darling consists of three pieces — a grand architectural necklace, sculptural modular earrings, and a diamond cuff bracelet — and over 1,000 hours of work from first sketch to completed set.
The palette was drawn directly from the colors Nadine gravitates towards — pinks, purples, and the drama of deep black — conceived as a balance of contrast and harmony, where each stone plays a distinct emotional role.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each black onyx element was individually carved to mirror the exact geometry of its corresponding diamond motif, requiring precise alignment between stone cutting and metal structure.
The result is a set where technical precision becomes invisible — effortless on the surface, highly engineered beneath it, and fully modular, giving Nadine the ability to transform her look across every Cannes moment.
